The contrast between Bush's speech today and Gore's is astonishing |
Sometimes I forget just how pathetic Bush really is. He had to continually look down at the speech that someone else wrote for him, while Gore wrote his own speech and, if he was using a teleprompter, it wasn't obvious.

1. I can't imagine how anyone finds * to be presidential timber. |
Just at face value, how can anyone say he should be President? I'll never understand it. He's a fucking idiot!

3. The only thing astonishing is that you |

6. 180 degree difference. What a painful contrast. What could have been |
versus that which we are, unfortunately, stuck.

7. Good point. Who's looking presidential here. |
I've been thinking that MLK Day was not a good day for Gore to deliver this speech because there are many other things going on today. But you just changed my mind.

8. I appreciated the fact that Gore tied in MLK being spied on |
as one example of why FISA laws were passed.

12. I hope CSPAN replays the Gore and Chimp speeches |
back to back.
That would perfectly capture this moment in history.

9. In pronunciation alone Gore is miles ahead of the chimp. |

14. Amazing when the young'uns notice it, eh? |
I watched with my 3 and the youngest (10) was the first to comment on it. He noticed that President Gore speaks in complete sentences without grammatical errors!!! He also mentioned that Mr. Gore could contrast 2 differing circumstances for an extended period and then reach a conclusion. The 15 yr. old is still trying to get over the urge to vomit. The gem from them came from the 12 yr. old - "No Goreism calendar material there."
