tweety: "What did the Iraqis want, the US to give them Breakfast in bed"? |
|
After the invasion and occupation?? omg sometimes I freaking loathe him. He is interviewing a former Army interrogator who was saying...
The Iraqis were very happy when the US got rid of saddam but then they wanted security and jobs when tweety interrupted with that Asinine comment! The interrogator fellow is doing a good job considering tweety spitting and interrupting every few seconds.
It is extremely frustrating to watch. :argh:

So if you wanted a smooth transition to the coalition authority, it might've been a start.

5. What Is So Odd About That, Ma'am |
|
Is that it is a requirement of the Geneva Conventions that an occupying power takes all necessary steps to safeguard life and property and civil order in a land it holds in its power. Not to do so is a genuine and grave crime against the laws of war.

my jaw dropped when he said it. It is a scary thing to think he is that uninformed and has his own show on TV. Gotta love american media these days. :sarcasm:

7. Well, Wavy Gravy managed to do it at Woodstock. |

Hmmm. I would think a wholesale not fucking up of their country, along with $9 Billion in Reconstuction Money being hauled out by contractors in Duffel bags might have been a nice start.
