Ya Know That Feeling Of Inspiration and Motivation You Got Right Now? Well |
|
don't let it slip away. Don't let it diminish. Carry it with you every single day until we can claim victory over the attempted overthrow of our country's values and constitution: Until we win.
Embed it deep within your heart and soul to call upon whenever necessary. Know the most important weapon in our battle right now is the ability to call upon this spirit: this inspiration and motivation, at will, even in the absence of a speech given by a great leader on that day. Feel how empowered you are right now, how inspired, and resolve to maintain that level of commitment even on our darkest days.
Our commitment, inspiration, motivation and determination cannot sway from one speech to the next. To win, we must remain this motivated at all times possible.
I feel damn good right now and will not forget the words and spirit of the great leader that spoke today on the holiday of another great leader, any time soon.

3. Yes....THIS is what an energized base feels like |
|
It feels good when Democrats stand up and fight, doesn't it? And look how quickly everyone falls in line behind the fighters.

7. I Went Into Today With High Expectations. |
|
I am prouder than hell of President Gore that he actually EXCEEDED those expectations. When was the last time someone in washington actually exceeded expectation? His speech was brilliant and one of the most presidential in tone I've ever heard in my life.
Thank you Al Gore!

He exceeded my expectations. Coe to think of it, ever since his SNL appearance, he has exceeded my expectations. I am a genuine fan of Gore. He is a figure that can unite BOTH the left and the moderates within our party. Only Dean can make a similar claim (and face it, Gore trumps Dean on recognition AND perceived demeanor).
As long as Gore pops up and does one of these barn-burning speeches, he has done enough, in my opinion. My guess is that he has a little more than just this speech planned.
The present incarnation of Al Gore is MY kind of Democrat. Believe it or not (as much as I highlight DINOs here), the number of Democrats that are becoming "my" kind of Democrat is getting larger, and that is a good thing (if you're me).

The strains of Fleetwood Mac and the image of Al & Bill up on that stage are floating through my mind tonight.

10. Yes. Remember it for the battles to come. Rove will ensure we |
|
are cutting our losses well into the 2006 elections. We shall overcome.

the only one I think we can count on for doing his job atm, is Fitz, if he didn't think he could do it, Rove would be off the hook, he isnt.

like he has the USA already. If he goes to trial - it will be like Saddam Hussein. He will diminish the court so badly - people will quit. He will find ways to just destroy people who get in his way.

16. I don't give a damn about a trial... |
|
if he is indicted, he cannot work for the white house, he cant arrange any smear campaigns, he can't advise, he is locked out.
If he tries to contact them, he can seriously jeopardize the case against him, just like scooter, you just don't hear about scooter today.

18. I worry Rove is such an asset that they would find some sacrificial |

lamb. I worry that it is just not possible for the truth to exit where that person does.

17. Use your passion to fight Alito. Don't but the MSM line that it is a |
|
done deal. It ain't done if we fight. If we don't fight, well then, see you in the concentration camps.
