A shout-out to Bob Barr and Arlen Specter --

Recent public statements from them enabled Bill Schneider just now reporting on CNN to say that some Republicans share Al Gore's concerns. This expanded the story beyond Gore. Barr is out there, and Specter often disappoints, but we must have help from the other side. I'm grateful to these two, and maybe we should let them know. I would imagine they're not getting much support for speaking out, especially after Specter's use of the "I" word on Sunday morning TV. And who knows what happened to Bob Barr today???

4. Even though I'm still weary of Specter

but if he can help with this than it's time to put the pressure on and show him we're not taking this nonsense. I do think Barr is geniune but I don't know about Specter personally. If this can start hearings than I'm all for it. When are the hearings to begin anyways?
