I attended Al Gore Speech Today |
|
I would have to say it was the most truthful and well presented speech I have ever heard. It was such a pleasure to listen to someone who can speak and is very very knowledable on the constitution.
Thank you Al Gore, the pleasure was mine.

It must have been electrifying to be in that room. It has motivated all of us out here. Getting ready to re-watch it on CSPAN 1 at 8pm eastern.

8. Every time Bush 'speaks'.... |
|
I'm embarrassed for our country. Remember just how good a speaker Clinton was? He always looked at home with people all around the world. Bush, on the other hand, has to have an ear piece in his ear, probably being told syllable by syllable what to say and he always looks out of place unless he's in one of his pre-screened 'town-hall' meetings.
I plan to watch the Gore speech on C-SPAN in just a few minutes but from the clip I saw earlier I expect to enjoy a well-delivered well-thought-out speech - something we are no longer used to hearing.

9. Lucky you. I saw the last 20 minutes. Good thing C-SPAN archives. |
|
If Gore continues speaking this way, I may let him on the ticket with Clark.

... and I actually teared up as he was wrapping the speech up. I'm so glad I got to see him in person. I was dreading going back to my unfortunate real world knowing who is allowed to be in charge of our country instead of President Gore.
