Just saw Chase ad for a credit card: "All You Need Is Love." Oh God.
It was the Beatles. Not a knock off group. Oh God. Get the defribrillator. As Fred Sanford said, I'm Coming, Elizabeth! I lived through Cadillac being pushed by Led Zeppelin. I survived an investment company using Inagaddadavida by Iron Butterfly. But this is too much. Chase Manhattan at 25 percent usury rates using "All You Need Is Love?!?" Now I fight back. Join me. I write them Friday.

2. I don't watch TV so I can't see it myself....
But I thought the Beatles refused to let other companies use their music. I remember some shoe company was forced to remove their comercials for using "Revolution" several years ago. It would be very sad if the Paul, Ringo, and the survivors of John and George's estates let this happen.

4. MJ owns Beatles rights
I read that he was trying to sell them or had sold them. But I don't think the Beatles have any say over their music anymore and haven't for quite a while.

7. Mostly the early. pre-Apple stuff
"All You Need Is Love" is later, but might be in some kind of loophole allowing Michael Jackson to sell the rights, like the song "Revolution" which MJ let Nike use to hawk overpriced footwear made by Southeast Asian child slaves.

8. Substitute "love" for money, and I guess that would be accurate.

9. You ain't gonna find no love at Chase Manhatten!
I had a prime rate card, that I carried a balance on for 13 years. Never late on a payment. Not once.

Then last year, I got called out of town on an emergency for a couple of weeks, got back in town and sent the payment in a week late.

Can we 29.9% interest boys and girl?

I'm in the process of unloading my Chase Mortgage too. Screw them. They'll never get another nickle from me.

BTW, they called me 2 weeks ago, and asked why I don't use the card any more, and I explained what they did with the interest rate. I might consider using it, if they returned the rate to prime.

She said, we can offer 27.5%.

I said, "FUCK YOU"!!!!!

10. Seen it...
Michael Jackson owns the Beatles catalog. When they were doing jury selection, I told mr liberty that if we lived in Ca. and I'd been called, if they asked me if I had prejudged him, I'd have to say, "yes, send him to jail. Not for child molestation, but for buying the Beatles catalog out from under Paul, and for selling their music for commercials." I'd just about vote to fry that pipsqueak freak of nature over this transgression!

I refuse to buy anything from anyone who uses Beatles music for commercials. I've never bought anything from Nike, I'll never use a Chase card. NEVER! I'll never buy a Caddy, either.

I hate hearing the rock gods used as advertising fodder.
