6. EXCELLENT verbal combat from RFK, Jr.
He fit everything in -- the arrogance and incompetence of Bushco, the squandering of enormous goodwill towards America in only six years, the Downing Street Memo, the hugely bad judgment of Democratic senators who put their trust in Bush and voted to give him expanded power, and the WH press as nothing more than stenographers and Kool-Aid drinkers (that's as much as I can remember).

Fantastic appearance.

7. Charlie really went after him
Pretty combative - the way Charlie usually is with Democrats.

Kennedy started off with his explanation of how the 2004 election was statisticall stolen: exit polling amazingly accurate in predicting elections, both statistically verified from a history of past exit polling, and operationally in that asking people who they just voted for is far more accurate than a random sampling of people who have not yet voted, may change their minds, or who won't even end up voting. In this case the best exit polling firms sampled 200,000 voters nationwide compared to the usual 2000. And while the normal 2000-people samples are, as he said, already amazingly accurate, the statistical accuracy of 200,000 samples dwarfs even that. And yet in 11 states the ballots veered from the exit polling, sometimes substantially, and always in Bush's favor. To a statistical 60-million to one deviance.

Charlie changed the subject and Kennedy talked about the lies to get us into the war. Charlie's main, repeated and sometimes testy response was to question why Democrats voted for the war. Kennedy explained that what they voted for was giving a still-trusted Bush the authority to engage in the brinksmanship that everyone knew Saddam was playing, unaware at the time due to things we learned later like through the Downing Street memos, that Bush was lying through it all. Charlie kept coming back with 'but why do some Democrats support the war' as if he had heard nothing.

Those were the two main areas of discussion. I'd like to see Charlie go after one of these right-wingers on all of the lies, before, during and throughout this war, but that's unlikely to ever happen, at least with the verve that he defends Republican actions.

8. Charlie Rose is a neo con whore
I was so discussed by the way Charlie Rose treated RFK Jr. He tried really hard to change the subject. He would not let him talk about the stolen election. He just kept coming up with right wing talking points and changing the subject. He made sure he didn't get to talk very much about the stolen election.

RFK Jr was brilliant. Honest and straight to the point. Charlie just couldn't deal with honesty. All he knew how to do was shout it down.

I call in every fund drive and tell them as long as they have a neo con idiot like Charlie Rose on they will not get any donations from me. I used to give money to PBS.
