4. But, but, but..... George Miller once voted for the bank lobby, & Barney
Frank once voted for a tax cut, and I saw Henry Waxman shake Frist's hand the other day, and Bennie Thompson once voted to allow guns in pickup trucks, and Tom Lantos didn't help an old lady cross the street, and John Conyers said something nice about Reagan a few years ago, and Louise Slaughter once had dinner with Newt Gingrich, and, well, of course we know just what a right-wing hack that ol'Charlie Rangel can be...

Just a bunch of DINO's, all of them, because they once had the nerve to disagree with me on some issue, HOW DARE THEY!!!!

;-) :sarcasm:

9. Ah, an enlightened soul!!!!
If we want to win, we have to remember our tent is HUGE, and we can't just back those who happen to be in our little corner of it, because that ensures that we won't get the power.

Together, we win. Fractured, they win.

5. the one thing that truly sucks about it is that many of these races or all
are likely to be rigged, stolen, hacked. and it will all be for naught again in this once great country that used to be a democracy and used to pride itself in its constitution and rule of law.

7. I'm with ya. I established
www.utah-vote.org so I am very much in agreement with you. I think it may be too late to stop the machines before 2006. I plan to vote absentee in protest. Even if my vote won't count any more that way than on a DRE, atleast they'll know what I think of the DREs.

13. Nope
Think short-term if you choose.

I choose to think longer-term. If we elect DINOs, we elect people who don't represent our ideals. It may gain us a measure of short-term power, but we lose in the long run.

It's thinking like this that created the situation we now face.

15. It's PRECISELY BECAUSE we've been electing DINOs that we're in the mess...
You've got it right: it's *PRECISELY BECAUSE* we've been
electing DINOs that we're in the mess we're in, where no
one can figure out what Democrats stand for because they
apparently stand simultaneoulsy for nothing and everything!

Run real democrats! Elect real democrats!

When people can once again say that Democrats are the
party that stands for human rights for everyone, for peace
through prosperity, for *THE LITTLE GUY* and the *WORKING
PERSON*, then there won't be any trouble electing Democrats
over Republicans.

14. I'll vote for the democrat. If they happen to be the Democrat, more...
You've got it backwards. It's vitally important to vote for
the democrat because what we need most is for people to see
why it's important to return to basic democratic principles
such as support for the Constitution and the Bill of Rights,
equal rights for everyone, the reigning in of the corporations,
peace THROUGH prosperity, etc.

If the candidate also happens to be a Democrat, more the better,
but that's not nearly as important to me, and a lot of Democrats
simply ain't democratic enough for me to support them.

Luckily, for me, the guy running for CD2 from New Hampshire is
both a democrat and a Democrat.
