Linda Lay deserves no respect and no compassion
Ken Lay's widow should be treated with the same respect that conservatives have shown for Cindy Sheehan.

So while others are giving her Linda Lay condolences and the President is writing her a hand-written note of sympathy, I will just say to her FUCK YOU! Your husband was an evil terrorist and a criminal. The world is a better place now that he is not a part of it!

Hopefully, Lay's funeral will be besieged with protestors because "God Hates Corporate Crooks".

1. I can't get behind that sentiment
Every human deserves compassion at a time like this. Yes, she has hurt many people and yes the Republicans have shown none for Cindy Sheehan. But I set my values higher than the standard the Republicans set. I can condemn what her family and her husband did without losing my human compassion for her current pain in the process. It's what makes me a Democrat.

12. yeah, he committed his first wife
so he could marry Linda.

I wonder if anyone will interview his first wife to see how "crazy" she really is.

4. i find it hard to have sympathy for her
because i still remember her crying about losing one of her "homeS" in an attempt to show how she was victimized by the enron corruption also. so she is just like those people whose savings and jobs were wiped out.

5. Linda Lay
I feel no need to personally attack her.

But I do hope anyone that has standing goes as aggressively and effectively as possible after as much of Ken Lay's estate that can possibly be recovered. Linda Lay is certainly no more worthy than those who lost their retirements in forced employee contributions to Enron stack. She is also certainly no more deserving than West Coast electric rate payers who the last I knew were still forced into paying exorbitant electric rates because of illegal market manipulations by Enron and others during the electricity crunch.

And if she even has to go try to find work/she is no more deserving than millions of Americans who presently work at or near the minimum wage of $5.15 per hour.

I won't attack her.

I will shed no tears for her either.

10. I remember her going on the Today show and WHINING
about having to sell one or two of their vacation homes. Others who worked for ENRON were losing their retirement and the only roof over their heads. She was wearing a lovely royal blue St. John Knit ensemble that probably would have paid the mortgage on three homes for a month.

My sis in Houston said that some people were sad he was gone because "he gave so much to charity in Houston." My sis replied, "Well, that's easy to do if it's money you stole from others!"

No tears for either one.

11. I keep wondering what the tox reports
will show. Of course there are drugs that leave no trace. It seems so convenient and helpful for her. After all, now she gets to keep the hundreds of millions that Kenny Boy was going to have to forfeit. Now it's all hers.

Perhaps this is one funeral we should let Fred Phelps and his cult protest at. That would certainly be one circus we can enjoy, despite the "somber" of it. :)

But she is an outspoken liberal. She has always worked for our cause(s).

Linda Lay, on the other hand, was an unapologetic shill.

Bad spouses, both. But a big difference in convictions and actions.

Screw Linda Lay. There will be no compassion from this party.

15. If you sleep with the Devil, you get to burn in Hell.
She should have left the fucker long ago. He died a terrible criminal, one who deserved a long prison sentence and repentance.
