Colin Powell falls ill during dinner

ASPEN -- Former U.S. Secretary of State Colin L. Powell was sitting in an ambulance Thursday night after falling ill while having dinner with friends.

Powell, 69, could be seen on Hopkins Avenue sitting up in an ambulance at 11 p.m. while his wife, Alma Vivian Johnson, and an aide looked on and two paramedics attended to his care. After sitting up for several moments, paramedics had him lie down inside the ambulance.

The four-star general was having dinner at Campo de Fiori with a large entourage that included former President Bill Clinton and Aspen businessman Michael Goldberg.

A source inside the dinner party said Powell was displaying symptoms compatible with altitude sickness and that the situation did not appear to be serious. No further information about the status of his health was immediately available.

12. Actually...
You live in Arizona where they don't observe Daylight Savings Time, like the rest of the MST zone. I live in CO where we observe MDT so it is actually 7:35, or 7:39 for my reply.

13. Yep
The OP does state MST tho. I know we stay standard while the rest go daylight. That plus the fact that it seems to be written in the future.

Wonder if Scooter has ever been asked outright what was meant by that statement to Miller.

14. Are we witnessing a scene like the end of the "Godfather"...
Where the BFEE is settling all family business in one swoop?

I'm picturing a montage going back and forth between * making his speech with Canadian PM and Kenny BOy falling over in his home, and then Powell getting violently ill at the dinner table. All set to opera music. :)
