U.S. Exports Hate Groups to Iraq
"We've got Aryan Nations graffitti in Baghdad. . . that's a problem," a Defense Department investigator is quoted as saying in a new report. Neo-Nazi groups have long sought to place members in the U.S. armed forces, as a way to train them on the use of weapons and explosives for the "race war" they believe is imminent. The Pentagon has had a ten-year declared "zero tolerance" policy towards such volunteers -- but the report, from the domestic terror-tracking Southern Policy Law Center, says pressure on recruiters as a result of the Iraq war has led to violent racists getting accepted -- and trained, and deployed.

The report quotes Scott Barfield, a Defense Department investigator, saying, "Recruiters are knowingly allowing neo-Nazis and white supremacists to join the armed forces, and commanders don't remove them from the military even after we positively identify them as extremists or gang members."

15. That was Samuel Johnson, but it was aimed at Scoundrels not patriots.

Basically, like religion, Scoundrels will use other's love of Country to further THEIR agenda. Thus it was aimed more at someone like Bush, who regularly uses other Love of Country top further his Agenda of helping himself and his corporate allies (Bush Also uses Religion the same way, as a tool to advance his agenda NOT to follow the dictate of his or any other religion).

Bush is the type of person who if it would advance his personnel power would denounce the US and Christianity in a heart beat, just like he is using Patriotism and Christianity today to advance his power. Thus Bush is the type of Scoundrel Samuel Johnson was talking about hen he made his famous quote.

every time I hear white supremacist I think of his sketch, "the black white supremacist."

On the story, I'm gonna say it's a bad thing to let these people join the army and then go to Iraq. This might explain some of the problems we have been having over there with the atrocities. Normal soldiers don't do that, I think it probably has something to do with this.

12. I've seen this first hand trumad

I drive cab on a post and I had this one carfull one night that. Well lets just say these guys could have been poster boys for the Aryan Nation. From their tatoos to subtle comments like "I hate all N*******, they should all be killed...but I hate Mexicans even more than I hate N.....'s," you get the point. They were just talking this way like it was just normal conversation. They must have thought I was "down" because one made a few comments like" yeah the cabbie knows what I'm saying"

My karma suffers everytime I don't stand up to one of these idiots but I have to be semi-professional if I want to keep eating so I suffer a lot of venom in silence. Also i'm trying to glean things from these guys so I use some subterfuge now and again.

What struck me as strange about these hatemongers is that they apparently hated their Commander in Chief as much if not more than Blacks and Mexicans and one made some open threats toward him. I got the vibe that they had a lot of friends. I'm getting the sense it may be almost one whole unit out here. Very few minorities and they're are the scariest mother fuckers on this base when they get drinking.
