1. WJ caller chides media for reporting only one side
Lamb says he has never heard that p;hrase before: "We've been on our own."

The caller was referring to the American people as regards getting full, balanced news reports from the msm.

2. that is like with everything
that we've been on our own, it's like if you have it that's okay, if you don't too bad, we have some mean people running this government.

3. The phrase struck me also. Might make a good slogan for Dems.
The caller also referred to Bush and Laura on King last night and said that they both claimed not to be stresswed. "But" said the caller, "I am stressed. I AM STRESSED!" It reminded me of back in the 1960s when activist Fannie Lou Hamer said, "I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired!"

Maybe the Dems should consider these emotions and play off of them in some way in the coming elections 06 and 08.

5. why should bush and pickles be stressed
they hold themselves above everyone else. they just don't care at all, they never had to struggle all their lives.

4. I couldn't help but think about......
the victims of Katrina....but then I came back to the reality of the program and realized the press implication. I liked what the caller had to say.....although the journalists tried to bamboozle their way out of their incompetence. I think they, on a whole, have gotten a little better of late, but they don't want to ask the tough questions. Same old, same old. Fear.

6. I noticed a little snideness in their responses also. The one
female reporter from the Baltimore Sun made some remark about the intelligence of the callers.

All three of them tried to blow off the truth that the caller expressed in saying that the press has not done its job since the very inception of the Iraq invasion.
