LIVE BUSH- Formal Press Conference at Museum of Science & History
Edited on Fri Jul-07-06 10:04 AM by kpete
“When history looks back, I’d rather be judged as solving problems and being correct, rather than being popular,” Bush said.

Looks like he won't be either...

78. Hey, I Said That Already!
It was bugging me too! When i was a kid, that was my favorite museum! I still get a kick out of that place! My wife and i took my niece there last winter and it's still a cool museum. A great combination of kid-friendliness, without dumbing it down for the adults.

Mr. President, have you been to the top of the Sears Tower?

41. And Don't Forget "It's Hard Work"
How many times in a speech does he say that. He is such a moron. And then when he couldn't remember the reporter's question because he is 60 now, duh, why don't you resign if you can't remember a reporter's question. His brain never worked now that he can use age as an excuse why not use it as an excuse to resign. I HATE THIS MAN.

23. His horrible speaking style.
I hardly ever can stomach listening to this idiot, but maybe I'm becoming desensitized.

Bushisms aside, he has some very irritating speaking quirks. First, he raises his voice at the end of almost every sentence, if not clause. This always sounds like he's asking a question. To me this is indicative of a person who has no self confidence in what he's saying and is asking for affirmation. Second, he semi-shouts when making declarative statements, like he is trying to drown out any possible negative statements in response to his drivel.

And he keeps repeating that insipid statement of his: IT'S HARD WORK! :argh:

Don't know how much longer I can suffer this fool. My remote is close at hand. :puke:

84. why does he not just stay on his ranch ?
The guy is a complete idiot , a listening tour , give me a break , he can't keep his bully inspired trigger affect retained . He says nothing we have not heard 50,000 times . We should be interested in his little outings to graceland , who gives a shit .

i just can't watch him one more second and refuse to ever again . Chicago is my hometown , I was born and raised there even though I no longer live in Illinois . I would like to move back , it is not a bush city .
