And if you can believe it, little Dick (Daley) has a history very similar to GW's. Not especially bright -- I was singularly unimpressed by his eloquence when I met him (he was the Cook County State's Attorney and I was in high school) -- took a couple/few tries to pass the bar exam (and there's some question whether Hizzoner, the elder Richard Daley, had to rig that for his idiot son, too), and many of the most publicized prosecutions from his tenure as SA have resulted in exonerations and the exposure of rampant and egregious police and prosecutorial misconduct on his watch. Also, his cronyist-laden administration is in the throes of numerous fedearl corruption prosecutions which certainly reach to Daley, the only question being whether he's insulated himself adequately and whether his closesst lieutenants will roll over on him.
