Linguistically, no Rovian spin can Swiftboat the word Truth into something bad. The opposite of Progress is Backwardness. The evil twin of Hope is Despair. The antonym of Accountability is Ineptitude. Peace cannot be War.

Peace is a harder sell. The Conservatives and Hawks have made that word out to mean weakness.
