Apple Investors on Yahoo Message Board PISSED AT REPUBS |

for poor economy and a shaky market. Check it out: http://finance.messages.yahoo.com/bbs?.mm=FN&action=m&board=4686874&tid=aapl&sid=4686874&mid=875423&thr=875423&cur=875423&dir=dMany of these posters are republicans (I've seen them post with conservative sentiments before), but they are all getting *very* angry that Oil and Defense are the only industries doing well (see the graph in my sig).

That they didn't get in on the oil and defense contractor stocks when the price was still low.

2. Well, they got what they paid for |
|
so to speak. I doubt that many of them will vote Democratic this time around even though their stocks are tanking.

4. I know, I've heard the same thing before |

I've been on DU for almost 3 years now and nearly every day is a thread about how the worm is turning & they converted a die-hard Republican, Bush is done for sure now, drip-drip-drip, etc.
Heck, a Republican former co-worker of mine was so pissed at Bush that he was telling everybody he could talk to that they should vote Kerry back in 2004 in the summer before the election.
But, the day after the election, he confessed that he ended up voting Bush... the RW had so effectively demonized Kerry as a flip-flopping soft-on-defense political opportunist that he held his nose & voted for the lesser of 2 evils. I know of others who were similar.
