An Apology to Skinner for taking him out of context

Skinner locked a thread I started yesterday in the heat of the moment, and in my posting I quoted only two words from a statement he had made regarding an element of the Leopold saga, so I'd like to apologise to him for taking it out of context. I did so because it seemed to encapsulate all that I felt into a few words, but words taken out of context are a bad thing, so I did a bad thing and I'm sorry.

But it did lead to something good. Now we have rules regarding Leopold and how we are to approach the situation and maintain some order and sanity here on the DU.

Plus now that Leopold himself is posting I am drooling with the anticipation of querying him directly as to what I believe is his apparent disregard for the truth.

I'm also considered a public figure myself so I have no problem with shots taken at me as well, but I would appreciate not mentioning or "outing" people who are not, seems that outing people is his forte, ask Armando at KOS how he feels, another valued member of the left taken down for his doubts on Leopold's veracity.

But this is about apologising to Skinner, I put him in a bad spot. For that I apologise.

NOW, Mr Leopold. Without attacking people directly you have your opportunity to enlighten those who would "impugn" your integrity. Let's see how you do. I will say this. I wish that TO would kick Leopold's ass to the curb so that Will Pitt would come back, tho we disagree and have had our fights I miss the little guy :)
