I have a bad feeling about that NK missile story
"The draft calls on member states to "prevent missiles and missile-related items, materials, goods, technology being transferred, including through intermediaries, to end users in or supplying DPRK's missile and weapons of mass destruction programs."

The document also urges member states to stop procurement of missile-related goods and technology from North Korea and to block financial transfers to suppliers to Pyongyang's missile or weapons programs."

Japanese ambassador Kenzo Oshima presented a binding draft resolution to the council, hours after Pyongyang warned any imposition of sanctions would be regarded as "an act of war."

if the resolution (which I understand is under Chapter 7 and militarily enforcible) passes with a Chinese abstention, it would cut NK from it's SOLE mean of income...

then it's impossible to know how a cornered Kim would react...

2. I don't think...
...it would send the right message to him to let him blackmail us, though. Giving in to him because he might act out would make us look like wimps.

3. Bush has already made the U.S. look like a bunch of wimps.
He has done more to harm our worldwide reputation than I thought was possible.

4. Bush will probably attack some other country NOT North Korea
because after OBL attacked us on 9/11, Bush invaded Iraq. WTF?

We looked like pure idiots on the world stage.

How could it be worse than that?

Dubya is a numbskull.
