Bush on being prez: "that job [sic] is you make a lot of decisions."

http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stories.pl?ACCT=104&STORY=/www/story/07-07-2006/0004393214&EDATE=

<snip>

They ask, what's the job like to be
President. And the answer to that job (sic) is you make a lot of decisions.
It's a decision-marking experience. Governor, you'll find it to be
decision-making experience.

Rule one on decision-making is you make decisions based upon principle,
not based upon polls and focus groups. (Applause.) You can't make good
decisions if you're chasing a poll. You can't make the hard decision
necessary to secure this country and to yield peace if you're worried about
whether somebody thinks you're popular. You got to stand for what you
believe and do what you think is right. And after September the 11th, I
vowed that I would use our national assets to protect the American people.
I think about it, I talk about it, I act on it every day of my presidency.

1. You know, the best part of George W. Bush ran down and around
...Barbara Bush's ass!

10. 60 years ago he became a member of the Lucky Sperm Club. How unlucky
for the rest of us.

2. Sweet Jesus on a Harley! Can that fuckwit even walk upright?
Or does he has calluses on his knuckles? Every time he opens his mouth he sounds like the dumb kid who didn't do his homework and is too dim to ad-lib any coherent answer when the teacher calls on him.

3. Come on--give him a little credit--he managed to remember some
of the talking points they gave him. I know it wasn't perfect--probably 6 out of 10 (hmmm in most school systems a 60% is a failing grade, but whatever....) On the bright side, he remembered something! Can he have his shiny star sticker now?

When are we going to have a non-retarded president again?

5. It took him six years to figure that out, eh?
The first debate vs John Kerry should have been a dead giveaway to that. "It's hard work."

6. He acts like he has stated the most profound
ideas and insights and he really comes off sounding like an Eddie Haskell-type 8th grader. He's always so proud when he gets to "explain" what to everyone else is the fuc*ing obvious and then he usually restates it a little differently just in case we're too thick to get his point. It drives me crazy when he says, "In other words..." because the first time he said it was enough for me.

Jeebus I just can't believe this is the President of the United States!!

Listen to Al Gore or Bill Clinton then think of the Chimp's no-shit-Sherlock utterances. It's painful when you compare the speaking styles of truly educated statesmen and the chimp who grunts his way through a statement.

8. And the most disgusting, dumbfounding thing is...
...they always laugh and applaud him like he said something so profoundly brilliant and witty. It drives me up the wall. He makes jokes about WMD's and people actually LAUGH while our men and women over in Iraq are dying. Why do people find it funny? I can't imagine Clinton or Gore getting away with the issh that this guy does. It's unconscionable!!! x(

13. well said!
Infuriating to think that those people laughing and clapping will only encourage him. If he were confronted by cold silence, I wonder how long it would take before he finally shut up? (I know, I know ... he can be quite blinkered ... if every American except for him, put on an "I'm With Stupid" T-shirt, he would probably be looking around for the stupid person!)

17. Oh man, it's like you're reading my mind! I have had those
exact thoughts countless times since one-IQ-point-below-dumb-as-a-post was selected to the presidency. We have all had personal experiences with somewhat dull people who want to impress you with their self imagined intelligence. It is so uncomfortable listening to them trying to explain a simple concept as if they were the only ones who "got it"...you want to scream "SHUT UP!" but you are too polite to risk embarrassing them because they can't help it they have been shorted in the brains department. But to find someone like that sitting in the Oval Office????????? :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared:

9. As St. Ronnie famously said
"There you go again..."

The man is a freaking automaton when he talks about "his" administration.

* September 11th! (3,000 innocents died, you dirtbag, not you!)

* I make tough decisions-not based on polls (yada yada yada-er...your nose is growing Pinnochio)

*I protect the American people by using every asset available to me. (Translation: I'll take every Constitutional right away from you and use the War on Terror for a mad power-grab as long as I get away with it. I'll also let my mouthpieces do my dirty work and try and destroy the Dixie Chicks, Michael Moore, the Jersey Girls et al while I wink and nod.)

14. Heh, heh, heh.
It's that stupid giggle that really gets me, and to make matters worse he usually does the giggle at a totally inappropriate moment. He's both Beavis and Butthead. Heh, heh, heh. He makes Reagan look smart and Nixon honest.
