Ken Lay needs to be sentenced in absentia. |
|
Fuck this shit. How the hell is it that he was convicted yet because he was never sentenced he is not considered guilty? I want it it down for the record that this man was a criminal. I want his great-great-great-grandchildren to know it. This needs to be done.

2. He's dead. Enough justice for me. |

Meanwhile, his great-great-great-great-grandchildren have not been born. I think Original Sin went out with the bit about not eating meat on Fridays...and if not, it should have.
Let's move on. No amount of dwelling on this is going to raise Lay back up to stand for his sentence.
Peace.

8. "Democrats Demand Sentencing For Corpse" |
|
Edited on Fri Jul-07-06 11:05 PM by MercutioATC
"Democrats today demanded that a man who was found guilty last week and has since died of natural causes be sentenced posthumously. Democrats say "I want it it down for the record that this man was a criminal. I want his great-great-great-grandchildren to know it."
The cost to the public of the posthumous sentencing is estimated at $5,000."
Oh, you get the general idea. Are those the headlines you want to read?
The man is dead. He did some really bad things that hurt a lot of people, but he's dead now. Nobody can do anything to him that death didn't take care of. He's dead. Let it go.

9. People are awarded a lot of things posthumously. |
|
I don't think this should be any different.
