Am I the only one who always gets this message when searching the archives

"Your search criteria return no matched results. Please try again"

But I know this is not the case. I get this three out of every times I use the advance search archives function.

1. I've been wondering about that.

Hope this isn't innappropriate, but every time I try to get into the archives I get an error message that says, among other things, that "The information you requested cannot be displayed because it is no longer available":

3. I think the search option only works for donors, but

you can use Google. I think the that including "site: democraticunderground.com" (or something like that) will restrict the search to DU.

5. i've had some success, but it seems if the thread was locked

2. Be sure to check the box that says

"Also search the archives" after selecting the Advanced Search" option.

4. I've tried it several different ways

Ever since they revamped the archive system, and it doesn't work for me most of the time.

6. i used to get a lot of results that don't contain the search criteria,

making the search function virtually useless.

on edit: seems to be working now though
