It's one thing to state the obvious and take a stand when it matters...like in 2004..BEFORE the election..and it's quite another to pile onto a lame duck..the lamest duck ever..

There is nothing new about him that a thinking person did already not know in 2000, or 2001, or 2002, or 2003, or 2004.. He's the champ of "stay the course"...His policies stunk in 2000 and they still stink..

Time is not being brave..they are being the toadies they have always been... It's "safe" to criticize *² now because he's on the way out..and he's way down in the polls.. (Or perhaps the pollsters finally tired of bolstering his numbers)
