Reality Anyone?
Edited on Sun Jul-09-06 10:26 AM by salinen
We are meaningless. Democracy is dying a slow painful death. The documents that protected the ideal are being used to light the cigars of the successors. The so-called two party system has transformed into a singularity. Representatives do not represent us, they represent the captains of industry. They are the CEO's who manage all the other CEO's. The media is a 24/7 advertisement for the controllers.

There are skeletons whose bones will be ground into dust that the next breeze will finish off. Labor is dead. Soon it will be illegal to form a union. Fristian Health Care was designed to ruin Health Care for anyone but the most priviledged. The triad of HMO's, Big Pharma, and the AMA, have gutted the system to resemble the antithesis of Universal or Socialized Medicine.

What resources are left are being harvested without concern for the environment. The value of raw material as it become scarcer, goes up, so the rewards are oh so much greater for plunder. The debate about Global Warming is no debate at all. They have effectively turned science into a belief system on par with christianity.

Face it, we are but pissed off observers of an Straussian wetdream. They own it. They were willing to to strangle anything that resembled humanity for the enrichment of themselves. Perhaps it is the ultimate evolution of the ego to become this monsterous. These ego monsters are not indifferent to the suffering of others, they enjoy it.

1. Ayn Rand is no neocon... Straussian wet-dream

is more appropriate, IMO.

Rand admired rugged individualists and entrepreneurs, which is actually anti-neocon.

Just sayin'...:-)

Other than that, I agree with the tragic picture you're painting.
