Obviously, 18 years inside the bloatway have made him unfit for any kind of professional career. that seriously limits his choice. therefore, he will:

Doesn't that happen when the new Senator gets sworn in, after the fall elections and sometime in January? I'm old and get confused.

the Democrats will sweep the Congress in November and Rummy will either quit or be fired, and Joe will replace him.
He will continue to be Rummy lite and get the Democrats blamed for Iraq in 08.
