I'll bet it is also 110 degrees or more in Baghdad. JMAJ!!! I feel for our troops over there patrolling the streets in full battle gear, particularly those guys from Montana,Idaho and Wyoming. No wonder they are cracking up. How much longer will this madness go on?

3. I ask myself every day
Why do I say here? Because I'm old retired, living on a limited income with no place else to go.

2. The conditions in Iraq are too much to ask our troops to bear. We must
bring them home and keep them home. No more war, no more invasions, no more world rule.

* and Cheney couldn't last 24 hours in those conditions and carrying that heavy gear, heavy helmets and bulletproof vests, long sleeved shirts, pants and ankle high top boots.

It is 76 in Greater Cleveland and I am very thankful that I can breathe and feel comfortable.

4. I worked in Yuma and did not find the heat to be so bad.
The low humidity helps a lot. Try Houston at 90 degrees.

11. My sympathies!
When I lived in the DFW area, some people said "well, at least it's a dry heat." But you know what? 100+ degrees is NEVER comfortable, whether it's a dry heat or not!
