I read The Areas of My Expertise on a plane during the holidays. Some of the funniest stuff I've ever read.

Over Christmas, I was talking with Mom about her reading habits and she surprisingly informed me, "I never read fiction anymore, because at my age I want to make sure I'm keeping my facts straight."

You see, she lives outside of Houston and wants to make sure that she can back up any arguments she has with the indigenous population of Bush-bots.

So, I lent her my copy of John Hodgman's book. (I'm such an evil son. :evilgrin:)

Anyhoo, I hope Hodgman is a regular!
