Why is the DeWine family picnic on CSpan?

It looks like a local get together for the republican's nearest & dearest. I mean, it's nice and folksy and all, but why is it on C-Span?

At first when I glanced at it I thought "Was is Willie Aimes running for Senate." I didn't watch it, but later when I was flipping around I saw that Cspan showed a Sherwood Brown event after showing the DeWine event.

He just said she's taking an 8 months leave of absence. She won a Pulitzer Prize! If I hear correctly, the only one the Plain Dealer has ever won.
