the cremation. I don't know, the timeline was short...

6. Tight security at funeral. No photographers.
A story in the Houston Chonicle released today:
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/4035585.html

Tight security at the Key Lay memorial. Only family and close friends. Photographers not allowed.

The mystery will continue to grow.

7. Since all the article talks about is a large photo of Lay...
I'm guessing the cremation was before the service...

8. Bush has a friend in the funeral business
Remember funeral gate? Kenny Lay was probably taken to the Bush friend for 'disposal'. He owes Bush a favor for allowing him to go scot free after he was found to have dumped dead bodies in the woods. Or better yet, how do we really know the ashes belong to Lay. Bush's pal might have simply tossed Lay's dead carcass in the woods and forgot about him.

The idea of Lay being tossed in the woods is my favorite yet.

15. He's dead, let him rest in peace.
This speculation is really stupid, get some proof before you talk.

16. He's been cremated. No evidence one way or another now...
Hell, if he did fake his death and go into hiding, that's still more "justice" than I ever thought he would see.

Edited on Mon Jul-10-06 03:06 PM by Mugsy
You say we should provide proof Lay "isn't" dead before we talk.

How 'bout you prove he IS before you criticize?

18. What do you propose they do, show a picture like they did with Zarqawi?
Not gonna happen. The family would never agree to that, nor should they have to.

Maybe a FOIA act request for the death certificate would work.

21. Why such respect for the family? Just curious. And
and why do you think they shouldn't be forced to show the body? Consider who they are. And why would anyone have any faith in a FOIA Death Certificate? Are you really that naive? I don't know if he is dead or not but anything is possible. And questions have got to be asked.

22. Proof
I used to believe in proof.

Then I started working on military contractor product liability lawsuits. Proof has never been the same since. "They" lie. All the time. But I have no "proof" for you. What is that saying, "Fool me once, shame on you . . . ."
