If the FAA was allowing loaded guns on planes, the highjackers would *not* had box cutters.

Eh?!
If the FAA was allowing loaded guns on planes, the highjackers would *not* (have) had box cutters.
It is one of the favourite fallacies of the crowd our friend here seems to belong to, to argue on the basis that history can be rewritten by altering just one little thing to suit themselves ... and ignoring every other factor in the equation.
If Person X had just had a gun, Thing Y would not have happened.
Never mind that this is no more certain than any other truth one might discern via hindsight; the fact is that the altered variable in this case is in fact, as you point out, "EVERYBODY gets to carry firearms on board planes", *not* "only the good guys would have been carrying firearms on board planes" or whatever fantasy the stupid cartoon was based on.
If the dog hadn't stopped to pee, it would have caught that rabbit.
If everybody had been allowed to carry firearms on board planes before 11 Sept 01, many planes would have crashed / been hijacked before 11 Sept 01.
Hey, that's *my* "prediction"! And I like it better than the crap reproduced in the opening post, which could only be believed by someone too gullible to live, and could really only have been created by someone too dishonest to be tolerated in polite society.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=118x126325('cause I might expect it won't be there long) I mean ... Rapists can't handle well-armed women No wonder Bill Clinton wanted them defenseless! is something *I* would expect to see posted at DU. Isn't the less than, er, straightforward exploitation of other people's misfortune for political gain just the nicest thing?
