1. I agree with that bumper sticker completely.
Marriage does equal a person + a person, no matter how they dress. If the sticker alludes to how a man dresses on the left, and how a woman dresses on the the right, then that's fine. Some guys like to wear skirts, and, for that matter, some women choose to dress as the figure on the left (looks sort of jeans and tee-shirt to me).

I say we take out the "gay rights opponent" and speak it to the truth. A human rights opponent, this Thomasson is.

I support the rights of one person to marry another.

Fuck these haters.

3. I saw one of those
on a car once as my friend and I were walking down the street. The car had his window down, and it was stopped at a light. I yelled out, "Look! We equal marriage! You're a man, and I'm a woman, and we're standing next to each other, therefore we equal marriage! Just like the sticker says!" Then the light turned green and the dude in the car glared daggers at us before speeding off.

It was a beautiful day. :)

4. That's not a man and a woman on that bumpersticker...
It is a man in trousers and a man in a kilt! Just ask any of the 3,000+ couples in Britain who have been effectively married over the last year. :hi:
