Can there be anything more evil? Nuclear weapons? Naw, we got em so they should have them as well (and I am sure they won't use them ever, they are nice loving people). Cars, factories, etc? Naw, they are not bound by the same rules we are because they need to catch up to us. Ok, cool.

But smoking? Jesus on a jump rope we need to stop people from smoking. Hell, just ask your avg american which is worse - NK with nukes or people smoking in bars - and I am sure they will tell you smoking is worse and we need to attack it on all fronts.

Thank god we have people here to discern such things for us. The dems will ride to power on seat belts and smoking, while the rethugs will be rode out of town on issues of NK/Iran/Terrorists/USSR/Etc.

A quick look over DU shows how true this is - our govt engineered 9/11, our troops can do no good and we believe anything negative about them (anything good is propoganda), christians are evil, chavez, castro, and kim jong long ill is cool and our worries about him are dumb. The avg american is dumb, voting is a waste of time (it is all rigged), and people who like nascar are red neck repugs.

Yeah, I see us winning the next several elections in a landslide. Them homeschooling christians are lining up to vote for us (yeah, we see em as dumb and child abusers, but I am sure they take that in stride). Who wouldn't vote for the party of 'america sucks and always has and has screwed everyone'?

Am I missing anything?

5. As Dave Bary Would Say
Hahahahahahahahahaha. There's probably too much going on to to capture everything, but sometimes the lunacy reaches a certain height.

It must just be the nature of internet forums. I mean, I read Noam Chomsky, I do like Hugo Chavez (having been there and talked with people), and I'm willing to entertain the idea that Republicans might steal elections or might even arrange a false flag operation. (Although the evidence has to be pretty good to buy into it.) But what happens here is just knee-jerk reaction and piling on, and anyone who tries to inject an ounce of perspective is shouted down.

What got me today was the reaction to the court decision about firms that make cleaned-up versions of movies. I don't know if it was a correct legal decision, but from a practical point of view it makes a lot of sense to me for people to be able to buy versions of movies they can show their kids. THey're not imposing their views on anyone or injuring anything except some directors' sensibilities. But the vehemence of the reaction here I really can't understand.

The thing that gets me is that for a party that's supposed to represent the working people and have a higher moral standard, there is such utter contempt for and cluelessness about roughly two-thirds of the country. And of course it will continue. Sigh.

7. George Bush and his administration ARE NOT America!
and many of us are Christians. Do you see how ingrained the propaganda has become? You just equated the crooks in charge with being America and the very essence of Christianity. I think you forgot the "wolves in sheep's clothing" part. We are NEVER going to win over the people who see things as you just described and we really need home schoolers to win, NOT.
