How can 48% agree that Bush should be able to eavesdrop on any American citizen without a warrant? As Gore pointed out today, the same doctrine of power that Bush uses to support this also means the president can license summary execution, torture, genocide and imprisonment without a trial. He could just as well suspend elections. How in the name of sanity can 48% of Americans support this?!?
