Frontal attack on "entitlement programs." That's what Bush is

going after. Just heard the first few lines of his statement on the economy. A classic act of setting expectations so low that any bit of news to the contrary sounds like good news. The fact remains that we have record deficits (as always under Rethugs who spend too much on the military fat cats and tax breaks for the wealthy) and had those deficits before the war on terror. Nevermind that the gap between the haves and have nots is widening at alarming rates within the country, it's time to widen it further by cutting back on the programs that help the most needy while we continue to give all the breaks to the most greedy. I refuse to watch any more so I guess i will not know how great our economy is doing.
