Bombs rock India commuter trains

Breaking reports in Indian news media indicate a series of bombings have occurred during the city of Mumbai (Bombay)'s busy rush hour, RAW STORY has learned.

Reports by the Press Trust of India indicated that the first class compartments of commuter trains at six different stations were bombed. Casualty estimates were not yet available. All transportation on the local train line was suspended.

The attack came on the same day as six explosions in Srinigar, capital of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir according to the Times of India.

A count of casualties was not yet available, nor was there any indication whether any party had taken responsibility.
