3. Maybe No More?

I was just thinking about this very question ... and it occurred to me that all of a sudden we are seeing a spate of reporting and inquiries and charges filed against U.S. troops in Iraq who have committed crimes and atrocities.

Is this the military's way of sending the message to the American people that they have had enough, too? Is this the only way they can undercut the "moral" rationale for this occupation -- by showing how it is destroying their own members?

But until the American people say in very clear language to the Bushites and radical Republicans that the occupation must end, sadly, the killing will continue.
