Freakers After Action report on the NY Times Protest (ROTFLMAO)
Someone on DU suggested that the "dozens" of people that showed up to inconvenience the NY Times were Freakers, so I thought I'd check it out.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1663814/posts

Here's my favorite part (cue the dueling banjo's)

"Soon the Caucus for America pulled up in a pickup truck, which would become our stage."

"When I saw that we had 30 or more people at a quarter to five, I knew it was going to be a success"

Were there more people, or porta-potties? I'm thinking porta-potties for the crap these people fling out of their mouths.

Hey NY Democrats. Here's a bar to avoid at all costs.

"After the rally, we repaired to O'Lunney's, on 45th Street, and were delighted to see our own rally appear on the TV screen on Hannity's show, followed by Roy Innis, discussing the rally."

20. And how many of those 30
do you think just happened to be walking down the sidewalk...in Manhattan...around 5PM?

If I stood outside the Rolling Stones concert with a sign, does that mean 50,000 people were at my rally?

18. I don't mind that the Freakers repaired there
but any bar showing the Sean Insanity Show on the TV needs to be avoided at all costs.

Wife and I walked into a place the other night here in Virginia. Fox News was on, we turned around and left.

In fact, I think if I remember, the Freakers and Bushbots caused all kinds of trouble for the bar that called the cops on the "Bush Twin Frat Mattresses" when they were caught underage drinking with fake ID's. I think a couple thousand DU'ers ought to show up at that bar and "urge" them to switch the TV from Sean Insanity. Barney requires the use of more brain cells.

28. We won't watch Fox but before just leaving I'd probably ask &
get a feeling as to why it was on that show/station. It's possible that it may have been tuned in to that show/station at a customer or bored staff members request and not at all the preferred norm for the owner/manager/rest of the staff. If it's wasn't and it IS the norm we'd let the owner/manager know why they were losing a customer and leave.

42. Love their signs...Let me play "Karnak"
Answer: mmmmmmm.... Just Judith Miller, but we dated her repeatedly.

"NY Times: How Many Americans Have You KILLED To Date Just To Get Bush?"

Answer: mmmmm...because that's the MTA's job, genius.

"N.Y. Times, your bias gives us the Blues; That's why we watch (photo of a fox) News.
Times, Why don't you publish a (sic) NYC Subway map for Al Quaeda?"

of course the most sensible sign was by a counter protester:
"If the NY Times was really treasonous, why doesn't G. W. Bush do his job and arrest somebody?"

32. They're pissed at the NY Times for publishing a story
that everyone and their brother knew about. Funny how not one protester showed up at the Wall Street Journal, who just happened to published the same story, on the same day.

They also find nothing wrong with outing a covert CIA agent that was working to protect America from NUCLEAR PROLIFERATION.

The disconnect is frightening. Flag Burning-Bad! Purple Heart Bandages-OK!

36. one of their comments sez po'd b/c * "asked NYT not to publish"
--DOH, freaks! since when does the "president" of a democracy tell the media what to publish?
I know it's an everyday thing in the world your wannabe emperor has created, but it is contrary to all our freedoms and to (what used to be) our democratic way of life. So it'd be okay if President Hillary asked NewsMax not to publish something that would reveal details of unlawful spying on the citizens? By the way, DUMB@$$es, *41 gave his buddy Osama bin Laden a copy of the PROMIS software years ago (I'm sure he's on the updates list)--"al Qaeda" has been up to date on global financial transactions for about the past 20 years. But don't let a little reality get in the way of your demented ravings. Also by the way, when do you get upset about the outing of a CIA agent by your buddies in the WH?

When they hit those numbers then they have the rights to brag.

Still, an infinite number of Republicans are likely in that area at any given time. The fact they only got 300 to show at their protest should be a reality check.

38. They tend to count those standing around watching
If you happened to be in the general area of their little protest you'll be added into the count so it seems like people actually showed up.

It's kinda like a train wreck - you know you shouldn't slow down and watch it but you do.

I was a little surprised at the 200-300 number myself since they pulled only about 20 people at their "big" pro-troops/Iraq war rally in DC all those years ago.
