Is the Neocons' dream, I mean nightmare over?
If they are going to extend Geneva Convention rights to detainees at Guantanamo, and since Time magazine declared the Bush doctrine of preemption dead...And we hear him talk about diplomacy diplomacy diplomacy...etc.

Is the nightmare ending?

Or will this last only until after the November elections?

1. Don't be fooled - it's far from over.
Any indication their grip on this nation is waning will only make them more desperate to hang onto power. They will do anything, IMHO, just like a cornered wild animal.

3. I am not talking about BushCo...etc. Real Neocon movement
the people who wrote the report PNAC? Wolfowitz, Cheney...etc. Their call for America to use its new position as the only superpower to get things done around the world...etc.

Economically, we are destroyed now...Militarily, we got spanked pretty good in Iraq and it is not over, and Iran and North Korea are both sticking to us because they know we don't have an answer...

Seems like Bush learned his lessons, and the rest of them know their stupid ass project is failure.

2. Neocon's no doubt are extremely saddened
that human beings in Gitmo might start being treated like human beings. And no doubt limbaugh supporters masturbate to rape and torture fantasies. I don't think the nightmare is over. After all, to believe so would mean we have to trust the Pentagon and the White House.

4. Nim...we will have to chase those rat bastards out of DC with
pitchforks. W has 2 years left...Rove is still in power..Condi isn't going anywhere. Rumsfeld is still calling the shots in Iraq. Cheney STILL has not turned over the notes from the Energy Policy Panel (see Ken Lay's unexpected 'demise'). The RNC is testing the waters with JEB in the driver's seat.

We have YEARS to go to get rid of Neocons...hell, its entirely possible we'll get slung with yet Another Bush.

7. I don't think it's possible for them to elect another Bush
I mean with the aproval ratings at 30%, I think people just won't stand for another Bush in office.

Not to mention, that it will cement the fact that America is devoloping a monarchy.

8. I think during a well funded, well orchestrated campaign,
The American public would elect a bowl of jello if it promised to persecute gays, promise to staunch abortion, and rattle sabers.
