U.S. "assessing impact of terrorist money leak"
The Rovian Press reports that the regime believes that the free press has actually hurt their little money transfer surveillance program.
LINK:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20060711/pl_nm/security_financial_dc_1

The report from Reuters states: "The disclosure of a secret U.S. program to monitor bank transfers will logically hurt efforts to track terrorism finance, although it is too soon to know the actual impact, a senior U.S. official said on Tuesday."
The story reminds us that some lawmakers (lawmakers!!) "have called it treason".
Kousin Karl's got it going!

1. They will try to use this as an excuse to censor the media in America
It's all for our safety.

Gotta fight them over there so we don't have to over here.

It's in our best interests.

Really.

It is.

Trust them.

Bush brags about going after Terrorist finances 5 years ago. And blames the times for reporting old news.
I am amazed daily that the Republicans and their apologists at Fox, And the right wing machine spin machine in America can't grasp the fact that when one of them gives a speech and television cameras and microphones are present, Their words are being recorded by a magic box that cannot take them out of context or make up the words spoken! When these emptionally and intellecturally retarded Nazis write opinions and books, it is THEIR OWN WORDE we quote and use against them and the fucking idiots (Coulter, O'Really) have the audacity to claim they did not say or write it!

4. well if it's treason, then the traitor is the person who leaked it to the
press. The press, for a change, was doing it's job.

5. It makes NO difference! al Qaeda doesn't use banks!!!!!
They use couriers. I don't know what or whom Bush was tracking, but it couldn't have been terrorists.
