Mark Riley is doing a superb job on Lou Dobbs' panel of radio hosts.
He is really on top of these bogus budget arguments and just slapped down claims that * has a wonderful economy roaring along and that he is competent when it comes to making fiscal decisions. Back after the commercial for more.

1. competent?

On principle, there ought to be a limit to how much the federal government can take of anybody's hardworking hard work, of hardworking money.

2. Yeah. That was the lead balloon the RWer was trying to fly.
LOL! Love that picture. If he takes off on that bike, he's gonna fall. Someone took the training wheels off.

6. Absolutely... I never know whether to laugh or cry. To be an American now
is to be a manic/depressive most of the time.

5. I thought his performance was weak and incompetent
he kept repeating how Clinton had surpluses, sure.

But he never really countered the RWers on their BS point about how "Bush should be commended for having such a low deficit, since we have a war".

Well, asshole, the war is off budget, so it doesn't even show up on the deficit.

7. didn't he even MENTION that?
that should be a huge point to be made, whenever they're stupid enough to bring up the budget.

it should also be brought out that, in real dollars, tax revenue is STILL below what it was at the end of WJC's term in office
