Budweiser is the King of Beers and Elvis is the King, so Budweiser is the Elvis of Beers. At least that's how it was explained to me by a philosophical type person. Anywho according to the Beer Church, of which I am a "Minister of Consumption", Jesus turned water into beer. He wouldn't have turned water into the drink of the elite and oppressors. Turning water into beer was a common way of purifying water, and besides grapes where not readily available in the area of the last supper but grains and hops where.
