3. That was great. Also skewering the Bratz
But even though it's obviously satire, I kind of found myself agreeing with him when he was talking about banning games to make school safer. I mean, really, you all survived. Kids don't need to be saved from the evils of tag and dodge ball.

4. I agreed with him on the sports thing too
As for those horrible Bratz dolls, I'm going to have to start writing "please, no Bratz" on my daughter's bday invitations. I am so disgusted by that crap.

5. It's like the girl version of GI Joes,
and then as guys get older, they're already into things like that, and it seems perfectly normal when they start covering the halls with propaganda posters and putting Air Force brochures in the office. With this, it's early training to fill a role, and just keeps being repeated throughout life. I get so much crap in the mail from Seventeen magazine, asking me to fill out surveys, and get a discounted subscription. They actually asked, "Which of the following beauty products can you not live without?"
:wtf:

8. Bratz are not allowed in our house either...
They are revolting. I'm no prude, but these dolls are so over the top.

Have you seen the Bratz Babies? They wear low-rise denim diapers!!

Did you catch the Bratz Geenie Magic tv commercial? I saw it a few months ago, and I nearly fell
out of my chair. I called my husband over to the tv and he could not believe it either. Young
children--around age 8--dressed in tummy-bearing costumes, grinding to the music with lots of make up and that dead look on their faces. It was really sick.

My girls are ages 5,6. They know that Bratz aren't allowed in the house. "We can't have them because they're too wild, right mommy?". It's really hard to know what to say. As a parent, I'm offended that this is an issue and that there are dolls on the shelves at Target and Walmart that look like crack whores.

Glad I'm not the only mom who feels this way.

6. He's used this theme before
In a commencement speech he gave recently, he introduced himself as a member of the last generation to have not sat in a car seat, or worn a helmet when riding a bicycle.

(Me too. Jeez maneez -- a lot of us survived a lot of stuff before children were rescued.)

7. Yea me too
I think that getting rid of dodgeball is over-doing it a bit. I think that the schools need to worry most about bullies beating up other kids.
