1. How often do AMERICANS care what the Congress is doing?
The normal media doesn't even cover it anymore unless Cheney is telling someone to go fuck themselves.

After all, you can see all the earmarks to occupations and dictatorships we slam into our spending bills if you watch the Congress; if Americans watched the Congress and actually SAW what each member is doing, the ignorant stereotypes would be drowned out and the truth would flow forward extremely quickly.

4. The meanness of not raising the minimum wage
is tremendous. But so many are complacent and say nothing.

6. I saw them to, and they were trying to bend
over back wards to give the repubs a chance to just discuss it. He said he'd stay late (after 2, when the day was supposed to end), come in the next day, come in Friday. He'd do anything to debate it, but they wouldn't do it. The repubs keep rambling on on how important "curbing" Internet gambling was and how it was breaking up families.

I don't ever want to here another person say that the dems don't have a spine, or that they don't fight for us. Are they perfect? No, but they beat the hell out of being run over by repubs.

13. Most Rethugs don't care
about the Working Poor. They only care about the wealthy getting tax cuts.

16. Yes, they do, as well as the WH
This was also brought up by our dems. One of them mentioned that they had had 6 raises since the last time minimum wage was raised in 1997. Even shame doesn't work on these repubs.

14. DUers don't give a shit? That's harsh.
Maybe we leave the computer once every week or so to do other things . . . like actively campaign or one of those other worthless occupations. Sheesh.

17. After you read so many comments
on how our dems don't have a spine or that they are corporate whores, you sometimes get the impression that few people here have any respect for them.

I know, it's probably the Naderites, but it does get under my skin after awhile.

18. What, no threats to "leave the democratic party" today? Huh?
Keep in mind, it's only when "democrats" or ONE democrat isn't perfect that some are interested in bloviating "NEVER AGAIN" or some such drivel.
