... Ambassador Wilkins is the 21st United States Ambassador to Canada, replacing Paul Cellucci. A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Ambassador Wilkins operated a law practice before serving 25 years in the South Carolina House of Representatives — 11 as House speaker. A strong supporter of President George W. Bush, Wilkins served as state chairman of the Bush-Cheney '04 re-election campaign and as co-chair of the South Carolina Bush for President campaign in 2000.

At least he knows where Canada is situated now. :eyes: And is less provocative than Cellucci who never found a Canadian topic to disparage and shoot his mouth off. Ironically, he is now working for one of the country's biggest corporation.
