I was within 10' of Kkkarl Rove today...

I was working at the National Council of La Raza conference where he spoke. I could just feel the evil. He stood up there and lied his ass off with that fake, plastic smile on his pasty white face. He was interrupted twice by protestors and many in the audience joined in clapping and chanting with the protestors till they were out of the hall. Only the VIPs up front applauded enthusiastically. 4/5ths of the audience just sat there. It was eerie.

Then Bill Richardson, the governor of New Mexico, came on stage to a standing ovation. He at one point even got a jab in at what Rove had just said. He really upstaged Kkkarl.

The Big Dog was there on Saturday and he tore the crowd up. Several standing ovations, constant applause and man that guy can give a speech. It's been a heckuva week.

I was working after all and my friend Walldude got in big trouble posting about such things. That's why I waited till after the fact.

It was a very hard show but seeing and hearing Bill Clinton in person made it all worth while. He's such an incredible speaker. I'd never seen him in person before and was very impressive. He speaks personally to every person in the room. He got several standing ovations and the crowd loved him. He's also the only "celebrity" the whole week that waved and said HI to all of the technicians back stage before he went on. They never got anything more than a cursory glance from anyone else. Just dealt with their handlers. Unfortunately I didn't get to shake the Big Dog's hand and get my pic like several others.
