I am reminded that if oil is so necessary and vital to our existence that we would invade another nation or nations to get it, maybe its time to give serious consideration to the thought that leaving something that important to us in private ownership is not in our best interests. Perhaps its time to seriously consider nationalizing them.

we gave the oil companies and Halliburton so much welfare in the last six years, their gross profits are just icing on the cake.
