He can fall in a pile of cow shit and come up smelling like a rose. He has the ability to take something that stinks and make it smell good. He prides himself on his nickname. Just like when he took the strongest point of John Kerry, his war record and his medals, and made that a weakness for him. This is how Mr Rove operates and that is why Mr Bush keeps him around.

3. They did the same about Gore

Gore had the reputation in Congress as being perhaps the most honest man in government. A well deserved reputation I might add but Rove was quite successful in muddiing the water so America was not aware of that fact. Gore invented the internet, gore was the inspiration for Love Canal etc etc. Attack their strengths is his MO and it apparently works. We should learn something here. Do they have any strengths to attack?
