What she is referring to is Strain's statement the defense attorneys who make their money off keeping criminals out of jail and the justice system that does not prosecute them need to shoulder some of the blame.

Spell said such comments could poison a jury pool.

Strain defended those comments as well Monday, saying he was referring to attorneys who attack the system, not those who rightfully defend the freedoms of others."

“I know you have some Slick lawyers on both sides of the lake who make tremendous living off of getting these people out of jail. Well we’ve proven in this parish that it is pretty difficult challenge for them to make a good living, defense attorneys that is. My personal opinion, that’s the first people we should put on a rail and get out of here.”

Makes me wonder who he is referring to when he says, "these" people.
