which one should a sane person be more afraid of? When the people running our government ask for more power, remember that little fact.

That is the reason giving power to the government is so bad. We are basically endangering ourselves even more than we think we are protecting ourselves. Governments must be kept at bay. Now I don't mean to talk about Social Security or other miracle programs, I mean to talk about surveillance. Governments have been proven dangerous, many times more than terrorists.
