http://today.reuters.com/news/newsArticle.aspx?type=worldNews&storyID=2006-07-12T095425Z_01_L10437415_RTRUKOC_0_US-IRAQ.xml

I just heard on CNN that he (Rummy) went to Baghdad under secrecy for security reasons.

:puke:

bush has to sneak in.

Condi has to sneak in.

Cheney has to sneak in.

Hell, Rummy had to sneak into Afghanistan yesterday. Where are the locals who are fighting for
freedom and democracy? Where are the people we liberated tossing the sweets and rose petals?

In Iraq we are an army of occupation that is powerless to stop the civil war we kicked off, the raise
of a Shi ite theocracy, the protection of a large number of indigenous rebels who see fighting
us as their patriotic mission, or even keep the water & lights on.

And when will the media tell the American people what is really going on?

6. Here in Columbus, OH where bush likes to return to the scene of his crime
..... he comes all the time ... they shut down freeways and the lap dog press fails to cover
the protests ..... not unless their is a "nut job" protester there.

These truly are hated thugs who have to sneak around and have their asses covered
by the phony free press.

I saw something out of Europe ..... an unedited bush speech .... the pauses and
stumbles were mind blowing it left me with no doubt * is an idiot playing a part.

4. They sure are eager to show how "sovereign" Iraq is.
Let's see how many indications of Iraq's sovereignty we can identify. When Junior, Condosleazy, Rumsferatu, and Dickhead 'visit' Iraq, they apparently respect the Iraqi head of state even less than a governor of one of our states. How many countries in the world permit this? American personnel (troops and mercs) can murder and rape Iraqis and be subject to no laws - neither Iraqi nor US. ("Security contractors" are not subject to the UCMJ.)

Yeah. Sovereign. Uh-huh. :eyes:

7. If they're so confident about the amazing progress over there
They would show up someplace in Baghdad - announced well in advance, and let the Iraqi security forces escort them around. THEN we can talk about progress. Until then, these surprise visits do nothing to show me that things are calming down over there.
