I thought it may have just been the 2 glasses of wine I had. But I watched again this morning. Still freaking hilarious! I just LOVE Amy Sedaris.

8. tell him
Tell him thinking American's thank him for his robust display of brontosaurus balls at the Annual White House Press Corps dinner!

It was the most patriotic act of courage in main stream media in the last five years.

He crawled into the bowels of the belly of the beast and told them all to go fuck themselves, eyeball to eyeball and unflinching.

31. Yeah, what Jimmy said.
I'd love to hear what Colbert would say to that, if you could catch him in an out-of-character moment. I hope he really knows how much his actions at the White House PC Dinner were appreciated. I just love that guy!

6. Congratulate him for the best political satire since Rogers or Twain.
He wins the "JOBYCOM Excellence in American Satire Award." It comes with an email attachment for an investment deal in Nigeria, but no pressure to buy.

14. I love Colbert, but...
When he interviews his guests, I'd like to see him become a little more serious about the important issues they discuss. His continued use of satire during this portion of his show, tends to belittle the important message many of his guests are trying to give.

33. Strange. The Dean interview wasn't that great either
I was surprised that JS kept interrupting him in the way he did. It was also somewhat stunning to me that JS had pretty much of a 'everything's going to be fine; Nothing to worry about' statement.

It seems to me that Dean's book is a warning bell and JS didn't hear it ringing.

38. Tell him keep on doing the great job, including most emphatically
his presentation at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

His comments were not only clever and funny, but biting, sarcastic and oh oh oh so appropriate!!

His delivery was stellar as well:

re * "he believes the same thing on Wednesday that he did on Monday...No Matter WHAT happened on Tuesday!"

And re * being on his show: "Frank Rich is scheduled but just say the word and I'll bump him. I mean BUMP him.....just say the word.."

Tell him he became a folk hero overnight after that speech, and that the combination of his skill, execution, and courage is stunning!!

Oh and mega mega THANKS!
